Garden Villa, Where I grew up.

The driveway on the left is the first house that my dad built. It was a small two bedroom house that he built onto. The field is where the house that I lived in most of my childhood used to be. It is now the backyard of an elementary school. My grandmother and uncle lived beside us on down the block.

Dad's Old Shop

My dad, Leroy Carlson bought this building in 1969. We moved the shop from Riverside Drive to this location. Leroy Carlson Auto Glass and Trim.

We sold out in 1983 but dad kept ownership of the building. It is now part of Music Makers. Prior to dad owning the building, it was a radiator repair shop and an amusement company.
